About the showMusic by Will Reynolds

Around the World is a whimsical family musical about adventure, discovery, and the transformative power of travel.
Jules is an ordinary office worker whose life is defined by routine.
His world stretches only as far as his daily commute—predictable, safe, and quietly unfulfilled.
But everything changes when he crosses paths with Mabel, a fearless and enigmatic young woman who lives as if the entire globe is within her reach. When Mabel abruptly sets off on a journey around the world, leaving behind only her mysterious hatbox, Jules finds himself compelled to follow.
What begins as a chase becomes an awakening. From the gondolas of Venice to the bull-running streets of Spain, from the cafés of Paris to the pyramids of Egypt, Jules’ pursuit of Mable opens him up to cultures, people, and possibilities he never imagined. With each new destination, the world grows larger and so does he.
Along the way, Jules collects more than souvenirs. He discovers unexpected friendships, moments of courage, and a renewed sense of curiosity. As the journey unfolds, he begins to realize that travel doesn’t just change where you are—it changes who you are and how you see.
Joyful, romantic, and full of heart, Around the World is a celebration of movement and connection, reminding us that sometimes the bravest journey isn’t across oceans or continents, but toward the life we’ve been too afraid to claim.
